The problems of the implementation of “electronic government” will be discussed at the round table within the framework of the VII BEF

Round table «ON PROBLEMS OF DEVELOPMENT OF INFORMATION SOCIETY IN RUSSIA” will be held on September 13 within the framework of the VII Baikal International Economic Forum.

Ruslan Gattarov, Chairman of the Commission on Information Society Development of the Legislative Council, the Council of Federation member; Maksut Shadaev,Assistant of the Head of Presidential Administration, Deputy Head of the Expert Advisory Group of the Presidential Council on Information Society Development in Russia; Ilia Massukh,Deputy Minister of Communications; Aleksey Nashchekin, Vice-president of "Rostelecom" will participate in discussion.

Representatives of the republics of Altai and Buryatia, Vologda and Leningrad, Novosibirsk regions and Cherkessk city will share their experiences in implementation of information systems at the regional level.

Representative of telecommunication companies will present their products.

It is expected that some foreign guests will participate in the discussion: Oleg Shvaykovskiy, Head of Elion Enterprises Limited,Center of Strategic Development (Estonia) will present some examples of the operating successfully system of electronic interaction with the state bodies.

One of the key topics of the discussion is the implementation of “electronic government”.
