Representatives of major Chinese companies will participate in the VII Baikal International Economic Forum. As Ms. Guo Ming, the Council General of China in Irkutsk, informed at the Irkutsk Oblast Government meeting on the issues of participation of foreign delegations in the Forum, the delegation of the National Committee for International Trade is expected to arrive, totally about 50 people. According to on line information of the VII BEF Headquarters, the delegations from the provinces of Shandong and Heilongjiang have applied for the participation.

The Chinese diplomat said that the Baikal Economic Forum has become an important international platform to discuss various issues of cooperation. As it has been already reported, "Russian-Chinese Conference on Near-border and Interregional Cooperation” will be held within the framework of the Forum.
