Investment in the East Siberia and the Far East Development Can Amount to 570 billion dollars. It will ensure the growth of gross regional product by an average of 7.5-8.5% per year. Aleksandr Kopytov, President of the Siberian Branch of Russian Academy of Mining Sciences, intends to present these data at the VII Baikal International Economic Forum.He will speak at the round table of the industrial group «En +» and the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, "Development Potential of the Resource Base and Infrastructure in Eastern Siberia".

According to the experts who worked on the report, a large proportion of investment in East Siberia and the Far East will be possible in the case of public-private partnership; agreements on the interstate and intergovernmental levels are requiered as a rule to make decisions about investments in large projects.

In particular, «En +» is planning to invest $ 25 billion in new East Siberian projects during next 15 years. Artyem Volynets, General Director of the company, will present their plans at the round table.

Among the priority projects of «En +», there are the development of deposits of polymetallic ores in Transbaikalia, Agaskyrsk copper-molybdenum deposit in the Republic of Khakassia, the construction of hydropower stations in the Krasnoyarsk Territory and Transbaikalia, the creation of Russia's largest rolled steel complex on the basis of the Krasnoyarsk Metallurgical Plant, the development of coal deposits in the Irkutsk Region and Republic of Tyva.
