Investment opportunities for SEZ of tourism-recreation type will be discussed at the Baikal Economic Forum
The role of SEZ of tourism type in the development of travel industry and regional economy will be discussed by the participants of the round table “SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONES OF TOURISM-RECREATIONAL TYPE: INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITIES AND BARRIERS” which will be held within the framework of the VII Baikal Economic Forum on September, 13.
Vadim V. Dubovik, Deputy General Director of “SEZ” ÎÀÎ on the development and interaction with investors will moderate the discussion.
Tatiana Balmysheva, Deputy Director of the Department of Special Economic Zones and Project Finance, Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation; Sergey Kanavskiy, Executive Secretary of the SCO Business Council; Irina Ryutina, Head of Agency for Tourism of Irkutsk Region; Sergey Anikeev, Minister of Economic Development, Labour, Science and Higher Education of the Irkutsk Region will participate in discussion.
The roundtable participants will discuss topical issues of investment in tourism-recreational zones of Russia, the progress of construction of infrastructure, improvement of legislation in the sphere of tourism, regional peculiarities of development of special economic zones, mechanisms of state support, the investment climate in tourism and measures to SEZs (proposals) for its improvement, public-private partnership in the tourism industry.
