VII Baikal Economic Forum Will Be the Most Representative
VII Baikal Economic Forum will be the most representative of the number and structure of delegations. The round-table discussion "Russia – ASEAN" will be held within the framework of the Forum for the first time. It will be attended by delegations from member countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN): Philippines, Malaysia, Brunei, Myanmar and Thailand.
In addition, the delegation of Venezuela, Nicaragua, Colombia and Lithuania will participate in the BEF activity for the first time. To date, 213 foreign delegates from 26 countries confirmed their participation in the Forum. For comparison, the delegations from 15 countries participated in the VI BEF.
This year, there will be more delegations from the regions of Russia. 16 subjects of the Russian Federation announced their participation in the Forum. Including Kemerovo, Magadan, Tomsk, Amur and Novosibirsk Regions; the Republics of Tatarstan, Buryatia, Tuva and Ingushetia; Krasnoyarsk, Khabarovsk, Chita and Altai Territories, Chukotka Autonomous District and the Jewish Autonomous Region.
