Technopark of the NR Irkutsk State Technical University plans to present 15 new technologies in energy, engineering, mining, oil&gas and nanotechnology at the VII Baikal Economic Forum. Ivan Golovnikh, the NR ISTU Rector, informed of it at the press-tour to Technopark on August, 4.
“The forum provides a unique opportunity to show the development of our scientists to investors, who may be interested in them, to establish contacts with them and sign agreements, - noted Ivan Golovnikh. - By the way, within the framework of the VII Baikal Economic Forum, we are preparing to sign several agreements with large companies that plan to implement our developments in production.”
Being granted the National Research University status, NR ISTU staff work hard to create and implement new technologies at the Technopark areas. About 150 projects are being developed simultaneously at Technopark now. The volume of research and innovation projects is more than one billion rubles.
Ivan Golovnikh noted that one of the main objectives of Technopark is to ensure the implementation of scientific developments in production, because, as is known, the commercialization of scientific achievements has always been a weakness of domestic science. Therefore, scientists are to discuss issues of the legislative support for the creation and development of instruments for implementing technical, scientific and innovative potential of regions of Siberia and the Far East within the framework of the VII Baikal International Economic Forum.
