The VII BEF Participants Will Discuss the Project of Irkutsk Transport and Logistics Centre Construction at the Conference "Europe-Russia-Pacific: Transport Infrastructure Development"

The challenges and trends of the development of the railways in the Irkutsk-Vladivostok area; the state and prospects of development of the commercial traffic along Europe-Russia-China route; development of transport and logistics complexes in the economic area of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) countries will be discussed at the international conference “Europe-Russia-Pacific: Transport Infrastructure Development” that will be held within the VII BEF framework

Uwe Leuschner, C.E.O. of DB Schenkel, Russia and CIS, will give the presentation on the development of the Europe-Russia-China railway transportation. Sergei Kanavsky, the Executive Secretary of the SCO Business Council, will speak on the transport and logistics complexes formation in the SCO countries.

It is also planned to discuss the project of the construction of transport and logistics complex in Irkutsk, the question of the realization of the project of creation of financial industrial logistics centre “Zabaikalsk-Manchuria” and the organization of high speed passenger and freight traffic in the Russian Federation.  Sergei Narishkin, the RF President Administration Head, is to moderate the conference.
