I Baikal Venture Fair Participants are Identified

The  selection of applications for participation in the I Baikal Venture Fair, to be held in the framework of VI Baikal Economic Forum on September 7, has been completed.

 As Evgeny Semenov, the Irkutsk Oblast Administration Department on the  Strategic Development and Innovation Policy Head, informs, 25 projects of 40 were selected to be presented at the Fair. In addition, seven research experimental (R & D) construction applications with a high degree of commercialization wil be presented to the potential investors.

"Projects have different levels of development: from sowing to Start-up stage . Moreover, the products of some companies have been already brought on the market today. For example,  Preventive Medical Center, Angarsk, produces therapeutic and preventive medicine cedar jelly, which has no analogues either in Russia or abroad ", - said Evgeny Semenov

Sampling was carried out by experts of the Irkutsk Oblast Government , Irkutsk city Administration and the Russian Venture Capital Association (RVCA). As pointed out by Eugene Semenov, the Baikal I Venture Fair members are: one Perm company, two - from Tomsk, and the rest ones are from Irkutsk and the Irkutsk Oblast.
