Russia-China conference on Cross-Border and Interregional Cooperation
The issue of establishing a joint fund of direct investments in Russia and China is scheduled for consideration at the Russian-Chinese Conference on Cross-border and Interregional cooperation, which will be held September 12, within the framework of the VII of the Baikal Economic Forum.
The main issues of the conference will be the financial mechanisms for implementation of investment projects, the interaction of banks and insurance of risks.
In addition, Chinese businessmen will present proposals for cooperation in tourism, construction of hotels, modern wood-processing complexes.
The organizer of the Conference is the Ministry of Regional Development. The moderators are Viktor Basargin, the RF Minister of Regional Development, and Zhang Guobao, Deputy Chairman of the CPPCC Committee on Economy, Head of the Expert Council under the National Energy Commission of the People's Republic of China.
Representatives of Russian and Chinese governments, businesses, professionals and investment banking corporations are invited to discuss economic cooperation.
Dmitry Mezentsev, Governor of the Irkutsk Region; Li Huei, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China in the Russian Federation are honored guests of the conference.
Russia-China conference on Cross-Border and Interregional Cooperation will be held on September 12, 14:30-16:30, in the small conference hall of “Baikal Business Centre” (279 Baikalskaya street, Irkutsk).
